Assault Glider Project - RAF Shawbury
 This project is a memorial to the troops
 who went into action in assault gliders,
 to the Army and Royal Air Force
 personnel who flew them, to the RAF and
 Allied crews who towed them and to the
 civilian personnel who designed and built
 them
The Assault Glider Trust Veterans Day
 will be held on Sat/Sun 5/6th July 2008

 Anniversary Operation ‘Market Garden’,
 Arnhem
7th September 2008
 30th anniversary of Double Hills Commemoration
 at the memorial site Paulton, Somerset.
 The memorial will be enhanced with the unveiling
 of two bronze statues, one of an Airborne Royal
 Engineer and another of a Sergeant of the Glider
Pilot Regiment.
